WATCH: Two People Taken to the Hospital After Three-Car Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Two people were transported to the hospital after a three-car crash on Howard St. on Tuesday.

A white Ford Taurus was southbound and couldn't stop in time for the stoplight at Dallas St. and hit a Nissan van. That caused a chain reaction where the van hit a black Nissan.

The driver and her daughter were transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure according to police on the scene. The driver will be cited for failure to control speed.

A passenger in the van sustained a minor head injury, but was cleared by medics on the scene.
