Crash Near Heritage Park and Cactus Hotel Blocks Busy Downtown Intersection

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Two drivers escaped serious injury in a downtown crash Wednesday afternoon sending an SUV into the side of a parked Chevy pickup. 

According to San Angelo Police investigating officer Quade at the scene, a Chevy Tahoe was stopped eastbound on Twohig at the intersection of N. Oaks St. when the driver of a white car headed northbound on oaks ran the red light. 

The white car crashed into the side of the Tahoe sending in into a parked Chevy pickup.  

Three vehicles were involved in the crash. 

The driver of the white car hit her head on the steering wheel and an ambulance was called to the scene but the driver refused treatment. 

No citations were issued at the scene.
