Driver Falls Asleep and Crashes into Starbucks Drive Through Line

 

SAN ANGELO, TX -- An elderly man driving a four door Buick allegedly fell asleep and his car jumped the curb crashing into two vehicles waiting in line at the Starbucks drive through on N. Bryant at 3rd St. Sunday. 

Officers on the scene say no one was injured.  The Buick crashed into a tan Chevy SUV which then crashed into a GMC Acadia. 

The crash happened before 3 p.m. on Sunday.  

Officers at the scene say the driver of the Buick was issued a citation for failure to control speed.  

No one was injured in the crash and officers say drugs and alcohol are not believed to be a factor.
