Pickup Crashes Into Pizza Joint Killing Two People

 

ODESSA, TX-- A Dodge pickup traveling at a high rate of speed crashed into The Depot Pizza and Deli in Odessa killing two people overnight.

According to CBS 7. just after Midnight Odessa Police responded to a call about a vehicle that had crashed into a building.

Upon arrival they had found a black Dodge Ram with three people inside.

One person in the truck was dead at the scene, one was taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival and the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say that the vehicle was traveling westbound on the Kermit Highway at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and crashed into the building.

Police have not released names of the victims at this time.
