Drivers, Bird Dog Escape Serious Injury in Two Car Crash

SAN ANGELO, TX-- A two-car crash slowed traffic at the intersection of 19th St. and N. Bryant Blvd. Thursday morning.

A Volkswagen Jetta was westbound on 19th trying to turn left onto Bryant, police say. A Chevy Camaro was southbound on Bryant when it was struck by the Jetta.

Nobody was seriously injured, but the driver of the Jetta had a cut on their arm and their bird dog was visibly shaken up, according to our reporter on scene.

Police say that both drivers said they had a green light. There was a witness at the scene, but police have yet to get a statement to determine who was at fault.

Citations are pending the investigation.
