UPDATE: Four Dead in a Rollover on I-20

 

ABILENE, TX-- Multiple crashes have occurred on westbound I-20 late Sunday night into Monday morning killing two people.

According to KTXS. the intersection between Westlake Road and Old Anson Road on I-20 was closed Sunday evening after five crashes.

A three vehicle accident happened west of Old Anson Road. There were also two cases of two vehicle accidents, one which was on Grape Street and the other at Westlake Road.

Another crash was a pedestrian that was struck by a black Ford Ranger. The victim's wife told police that her husband was walking to the store. The driver thought that he had only hit a deer, but at 9:45 p.m. he struck the walking man.

The last crash was one involving a truck that had rolled over in the ditch on I-20 and business 20 at around 12:20 this morning. At least two people were pronounced dead. The vehicle was heading westbound, but it rolled over both eastbound lanes and into the ditch.

UPDATE: 11/26/18

Officials have updated that four people have been now pronounced dead.
