Motorcycle Slams into Yielding Truck, Escapes Serious Injury

 

SAN ANGELO, TX-- A motorcycle rider not wearing a helmet avoided serious injury after causing a crash with a Chevy Silverado dually on Monday.

Police say the Chevy was yielding to traffic coming off Loop 306 at the intersection with Martin Luther King Blvd. when the rider of a blue Harley Davidson struck the rear of the truck.

The driver of the pickup truck suffered no injuries, according to police. The motorcycle rider sustained minor injuries, but was not transported to the hospital.

The motorcycle rider was issued a citation for failure to control speed.
