Teen in Sherwood Way Crash Identified

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The 17-year-old driver of the pickup that crashed Tuesday on Sherwood Way at Arden Rd. has been identified.  

According to an obituary on the Shaffer Funeral Home website the deceased is 17-year-old Darren Jesus Martinez.  

Martinez was pronounced dead at the scene at 3 a.m. Tuesday morning after crashing into several parked vehicles.

Martinez's family has setup a gofundme page to help with funeral expenses.
