Cadillac Blows Through Stop Sign and Minivan Rams It

SAN ANGELO, TX — Dispatch said some occupants were trapped inside a Cadillac SRX Crossover SUV after a crash in the intersection of N. Chadbourne St. and 17th St. with a minivan just before 6 p.m. Sunday.

When we arrived, we learned that two occupants of the Cadillac were able to get out on the own after the fire department arrived.

Police said the Dodge minivan was southbound on S. Chadbourne St. At the same time, the Cadillac was westbound on 17th. Police said the driver of the Cadillac did not yield to Chadbourne traffic at a stop sign and proceeded through the intersection. That is when the crash happened.

One person was rushed to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The Cadillac driver was cited for running the stop sign.
