Harley Rider Injured in Crash with Chevy

SAN ANGELO, TX — Today, at the intersection of W. Beauregard and S. Pierce Street, there was an accident involving a Harley motorcycle and a Chevy Silverado.

According to Officer Bradshaw, the black Chevy Silverado driver was sitting at the stop sign on S. Pierce waiting to turn onto Beauregard. The motorcyclist was westbound on Beauregard behind a truck that was taking a right on S. Pierce.

The Chevy driver said they could not see the Harley rider and turned onto Beauregard. That is when the motorcyclist collided with the Chevy Silverado on the rear left corner.

The rider of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital by ambulance with a visible head injury. Injuries are believed to be minor and non-life threatening.

The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The driver of the Silverado was given a warning for Failure to Yield Right-of-Way.
