GMC Canyon Crashes into Dodge SUV on the LOOP

SAN ANGELO, TX -- A late afternoon crash on Loop 306 and the on ramp near Garfield St. backs up traffic on the loop.

According to investigating San Angelo Police Officer Bradshaw, the Dodge SUV and the Black GMC Canyon were attempting to enter the loop.  The driver of the Dodge SUV stopped because of heavy traffic and the driver of the Canyon was looking back at the traffic and hit the SUV from behind.

Bradshaw says the driver of the Canyon will be cited for failure to control speed.  No one was injured and traffic returned to normal after the vehicles were towed.
