18-Wheeler Flipped on Burma Road

 

CARLSBAD, TX. -- This morning at approximately 8:30 a.m., Tom Green County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to an overturned 18-wheeler on Burma Road. 

The truck was loaded with gravel traveling at high speed on North Burma Road. The 10000 block of Burma Road has a 10-MPH curve that the driver hit at high speeds and tried to negotiate the turn which resulted in the vehicle flipping over. 

The driver sustained minor non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital, according to Deputy Skelton with Tom Green County Sheriff's Office.

Texas Department of Public Safety troopers are on the scene investigating. 

No citations have been given at this time pending investigation.
