Hit and Run Driver Receives Citation After Appearing at Police Station

 

SAN ANGELO, TX. – San Angelo Police Department need help to identify this woman from a hit and run that occurred at 1:50 p.m. on Monday.

The incident occurred at the Walmart located at 3440 South Bryant Blvd.

The suspect was operating a vehicle described as a gray or dark-colored Pontiac. The vehicle may have minor damage to the rear bumper.

According to SAPD Public Information Officer Tracy Gonzalez, the driver "came in today, spoke with the Hit and Run Investigator, and received a citation for Failure to Stop and Give Information."

She was in an awfully big hurry to leave. I guess it was lucky she didn't mow down someone walking. Should have been arrested at the Police station and charged with leaving the scene of an accident. I also wondered why her name wasn't reported.
