Man Discovered Trapped Underneath a Pickup Rescued

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A man was discovered trapped underneath a Ram 1500 truck at around lunchtime.

According to San Angelo police, the man, who was discovered by a passing motorist on Pulliam St., was rescued by the San Angelo Fire Department.

Police said the man was barely able to talk. He communicated with the first responders with hand signals. It is unknown if this was a result of any injuries.

Police said he was rushed to Shannon Medical Center with what may be a few broken ribs.

Police did not find any witnesses to what happened. The man indicated to them that he was working underneath the truck and the truck fell on him, leaving him trapped. “He said he did this to himself,” an officer on the scene said.

Police did confirm he was the registered owner. The incident happened in the 800 block of Pulliam at noon Wednesday.
