White Dodge Rams into 18-Wheeler by State School

CARLSBAD, TX-- On Highway 87, in front of the San Angelo State School, a tractor trailer collided with a white Dodge Ram Dually.

According to police, the 18-wheeler was making a U-turn to go southbound on 87. The trailer then swung out wide to the shoulder and back in to the outside lane but didn't see the oncoming Dodge.

The Dodge Ram then hit the tires of the tractor trailer, causing damage to the front end of the truck. 

Four people were in the Dodge. Only one, the driver of the Dodge, was transported to the hospital with minor injuries from the crash.

The officer giving the statement said they "were lucky nobody was seriously injured.
