Unlicensed Driver Slams into Traffic Waiting for 18-Wheeler to Turn

SAN ANGELO, TX — On S. Koenigheim at about noon Thursday, a semi truck delivering groceries had momentarily slowed northbound traffic as the semi turned into Jack’s Convenience Store to supply gas to the pumps there.

A driver of a red Chevy S-10 pickup failed to slow for the traffic and rear-ended a white GMC pickup that was slowing down, giving time for the semi-truck to turn into Jax.

Two occupants in the GMC were uninjured, but two of the three occupants in the red S-10 were transported to Shannon Medical Center with minor injuries.

San Angelo police cited the S-10 driver for failure to control speed and driving with an invalid license.
