Fiery Runnels County Crash Sends Two to Ballinger Hospital

 

BALLINGER, TX -- Two San Antonio residents were injured Sunday afternoon in a crash north of Ballinger on U.S. Highway 83.  

According to reports, the male driver lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.  Runnels County deputies arrived on the scene and had to pull the female passenger out of the car because she was injured and unable to get out on her own.  

The vehicle caught fire and both Ballinger and Winters fire departments responded to fight the blaze.  

Both the driver and passenger were transported to the Ballinger hospital by ambulance.
