Woman Chasing Her Dog Hit by Oncoming Car

 

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- Shortly before 4 p.m. this afternoon, a woman chasing her dog in the intersection of College Hills and Oxford was hit by an oncoming car. 

Officer Bradshaw stated that a grey Chevy Cruze was traveling northbound when it hit a pedestrian. According to witnesses, the lady was chasing her dog across the street.  The accident occurred in the 2300 block of College Hills. 

The woman suffered lacerations to her face and was bleeding from her mouth. She was awake and alert when medics transported her to Shannon's emergency room. 

As of right now, no citations have been made as Officer Bradshaw still needs to review witness statement forms and speak with the injured woman.
