Pregnant Woman Struck by White SUV Rolls Vehicle, Culprit Flees Scene

SAN ANGELO, TX – A pregnant driver went to the hospital this evening after another driver disregarded a stop sign, struck the woman’s vehicle, causing it to roll over, and fled the scene.

San Angelo Police Officer Long said the pregnant woman was traveling eastbound on Southland in her Dodge Nitro just before 10 p.m. when a white SUV disregarded the stop sign on Bermuda Drive headed northbound, struck the woman’s vehicle, and caused it to roll onto its side. At that point, the white SUV fled the scene.

Officer Long said, “The female driver was transported to the hospital to be checked out.”

As for the culprit, Officer Long said he doesn’t know the year, make, or model of the vehicle that caused the crash, but described it as a white box-type SUV that will now have front-end damage from this crash.
