Uninsured, Unlicensed Driver Runs Light, Gets T-Boned, Then Heads to Taco Bell

Police said an uninsured, unlicensed driver of a Dodge Avenger was headed east on 19th Street when she ran the red light at N. Bryant Blvd.

Meanwhile, a man driving a Dodge Ram 2500 4x4 pickup truck was headed north on N. Bryant fast approaching the 19th St. intersection. He said he didn’t see the Avenger until it was too late. He T-boned the Avenger in the middle of the intersection, sending the car into a spin. As the Avenger spun around, it hit the Ram a second time on the driver’s side.

The Avenger came to a rest in the median between the northbound and southbound lanes.

There were no injuries, however, the driver of the Ram said that today was his birthday. The Avenger driver was issued three citations for failure to yield the right-of-way at a stoplight, driving with license suspended, and not having proof of insurance.
