The Equinox was eastbound through the intersection on Avenue L. The maroon Vibe was northbound on S. Bryant. The Equinox crashed into the Vibe, however, the driver of the Equinox claimed to have the green light and right-of-way. So too did the driver of the Vibe.

Police sought witnesses, but no witness would cooperate. The investigation boiled down to a “he said, she said” moment.

With no witnesses available, police were unable to issue a citation. Police said that both drivers were properly licensed and insured.

By 7:30 p.m., the crash scene was cleared.
