Two Aggravated Robbery Suspects Arrested

 

Officers were dispatched to Wingstop, located at 3356 Knickerbocker Road, on Thursday, March 27, at approximately 9:15 p.m. in response to a theft in progress. Information being relayed was two suspects were taking assorted items from a vehicle. When one of the suspects noticed they were being watched he threatened that he was armed with a knife as well as a bomb. The suspects fled the scene but were quickly apprehended when responding officers found the two males nearby. The suspects were identified as Robert Gomez (02/20/1976) and Jonathan Correa (04/09/1996).

The knife was located however there was not an explosive device involved. The property of the victim was located and returned. Gomez was arrested for Second Degree Felony aggravated robbery and Class A burglary of a vehicle. Correa was arrested for 13 outstanding city warrants.

They, too, are humans with troubles you may not know about, so I expect those with Christan hearts to pay for these men as they prayed for the man who attacked cops and pointed guns at people at Walmart. We must extend the same empathy and compassion to all law breakers. It's what Jesus would do.
