Exotic Expressions begin as gift basket business and soon turned into a Christmas shop. The owner, Tony Akin, has always loved Christmas and has a passion for decorating, so Exotic Expressions was the perfect way to combine both of those things. In addition to everything that shoppers can find inside the store, Exotic Expressions offers custom design work like personalized wreaths, garlands, bows, and fully decorated Christmas trees. They also offer design consultations for those wishing to complete their ideal holiday theme with unique items.

The seasonal shop opens in late September and is open until the end of the year. They feature sales throughout the holidays, so stop any time during the season for phenomenal décor at great prices. Exotic Expressions is not located in the center of San Angelo, but they are worth the few extra minutes that it takes to drive to their shop. They are located at 118 Buckskin Dr. here in San Angelo, just a couple of minutes down the road from the DPS office.

“We are off the beaten path, but it is worth your time and effort,” said Akin.

Stepping into Exotic Expressions guarantees everyone will get into the Christmas spirit. The shop is filled with beautifully decorated trees, an expansive collection of Christmas decorations and décor, and a welcoming staff. They also offer collectibles, candles, and stocking stuffers. Exotic Expressions has items for all kinds of budgets and tastes. Shoppers can enjoy a relaxing atmosphere while sampling delicious cookies and savory wassail. On weekends when the weather is nice, patrons can enjoy frozen margaritas and Bloody Marys. Gourmet foods are also available in-store for purchase. 

In addition to all things Christmas, the store also offers a variety of CBD infused products. They carry roll-on CBD gel and CBD drops with 300 mg, 500 mg, and 1000 mg concentrations.

Exotic Expressions would like to encourage everyone that visits their store to sign up for a yearly announcement card that lets patrons when they will be opening and it includes a coupon.
