Bank of America Closing its Doors in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, TX -- The Bank of America locations in San Angelo will be shutting down this year.

According to an email sent to all customers, the bank will be closing by December 3.

"We're closing the financial center where you opened your account," said the email. "While your account will stay the same, we're sorry for the inconvenience this closing causes."

The banks have various locations around town including the financial center at 2909 Sherwood Way and 333 West Twohig. They also have a drive-up facility at 2 S Abe that will be closing as well.

The banks will still be leaving various ATM's around town but the closest location for customers now will be Abilene.

My wife had an account with these clowns when I first moved here & I had a government travel card through them. They couldn’t get ANYTHING right! Her account was always messed up & they kept putting someone else’s payments against my card that had a $0 balance. Good riddance!

Bank of America is a horrible bank. Their customer service is nonexistent, the employees don't care, their hours are reminiscent of the 1960's. I won't miss them at all. Adios Bank of Amigo!

Sherwood way never answers their phone! I hate Suddenlink but at LEAST they answer their phones

I haven't cared for any of the banks who took the government bail out money. I'm not surprised karma is finally showing up.... next in line!
