Watch: Grass Fire Threatens Goodfellow AFB Neighborhood

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Volunteer firefighters extinguished a fast moving grass fire near Goodfellow Air Force Base Thursday afternoon.

Scanner reports initially indicated the fire was a structure fire but when firefighters arrived in was apparently a grass fire near the Tyler Terrace neighborhood.

Volunteers from the East Concho VFD and the Wall VFD responded and put out the fire. 

Tom Green County Sheriff's deputies also responded to the scene. 

No structures were damaged and there are no reports of injuries.
