Galilee CDC Announces Ground Breaking for Rural Development in Grape Creek

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — On May 22, 2019 the Galilee Community Development Corporation begins construction on the first home of their newest program. 

Galilee CDC is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit corporation that builds new homes and provides light repairs for senior citizen and disabled home owners in and around San Angelo. Most of these homes are located in the six City of San Angelo-identified low-income neighborhoods that include Belaire, Blackshear, Reagan, Rio Vista, Lakeview, and Ft. Concho. 

Galilee CDC’s newest program is building new homes and providing light repairs for the rural areas around San Angelo as well.

The groundbreaking will be taking place at 8711 Grape Creek Road (across from Grape Creek High School) on Wednesday May 22 at 11 a.m. The Grape Creek community is located just north of the city limits of San Angelo. 

Families interested in purchasing this new home can be aided by the USDA, Texas First, Texas Heroes or other mortgage products for qualified moderate income persons.
