New Food Delivery Service to Hit San Angelo
SAN ANGELO, TX-- The food delivery service "Waitr" expects to launch its first West Texas location in San Angelo Thursday.
Waitr began in 2015 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Since then they have grown to one of the nation's largest food delivery services by being available in more than 235 cities over 10 states. In Texas they are available in Houston, Beaumont, Longview, Tyler, Waco, Temple, Killeen, Corpus Christi, Victoria, and Galveston. Their mission is to develop the local food culture for communities across the United States by expanding the reach of local restaurant menus.

The service runs on the "Waitr" app, which is available on the app store where people can get on pick out what you would like to eat, pay, and then have the food delivered to their house for only a flat fee of $5. They will also be offering a free delivery throughout February 3 by using promo code "SAN ANGELO" while checking out.
“From live monitoring of deliveries yielding faster door-to-door service to the unique ability to provide full-color photography of every menu item from all participating restaurants," said Whitney Savoie, Market Development Director for Waitr.
