San Angelo's Christian Radio Station Sold

 

SAN ANGELO, TX—The contemporary Christian radio station KCRN, 1340 AM and 93.9 FM, has changed ownership.

A filing with the Federal Communications Commission shows that First Dallas Media, INC. is selling the San Angelo-based station to Houston Christian Broadcasters,INC. The price tag for the sale is $205,000.

The call sign the station is now known by was assigned by the FCC on September 9, 1991. Prior to that, it was known as KTEO-FM from 1988 to 1991. From 1986 to 1988 the station donned the call sign KYSD.

 First Dallas Media owns the KCBI Radio Network which KCRN is a part of right now.

Houston Christian Broadcasters has been on-air since 1966 in the Bayou City and their mission statement says they "provide teaching of the word of God and religious music."
