West Texas Legislative Conference Speakers and Schedule Announced

 

 "Early Bird" registration for the West Texas Legislative Summit in ongoing through July 17. This year's Summit will be held at the C.J. Davidson Conference Center at Angelo State University, and the program and speakers to date are as follows:

Tuesday, August 4: 1:30-5:00 pm

Wednesday, August 5: 8:30 am-3:30 pm

  • Small and large MPOs & their roles
  • Reauthorization of Surface Transportation Act
  • Prop 1 formula for distribution of funds
  • Prop 7 highway funds dedication
  • Local transportation perspective: rural and urban
  • Federal transportation perspective
