Prescription Drug Take Back to Reduce Youth Prescription Drug Abuse
The Concho Valley CARES Coalition and ADACCV will Host a Prescription Drug Take Back to Reduce Youth Prescription Drug Abuse.
The Concho Valley C.A.R.E.S. (Community Action and Resources for Empowerment and Success) Coalition, The Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley, San Angelo Police Depanmnet. and collaborating partners will host a Prescription Drug Take·Back event on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at ADACCV Cotton Lindsey Center, located at 3553 Houston Harte in San Angelo, TX. Qur event is in conjuntion with the National RX Take Back Day!
The public is encouraged drop off unused or expired prescription or over the counter medications for proper disposal at no cost. Illegal substances, syringes/needles, inhalers or glass containers are not accepted.
Be a part of the solution by joining the efforts to reduce prescription drug abuse and create a safe, drug-free environment for the Concho Valley youth.
In 2007, CV CARES was founded with the mission of creating an environment that encourages the reduction of youth substance abuse so children and families can thrive. Now a coalition of the Alcohol & Drug Abuse Council for the Concho Valley, a nonprofit 501(c)3, CV CARES collaborates with agencies and individuals from 12 sectors of our community.
