Sunset Mall and La Esperanza Clinic invite the community to the ninth annual Back to School Celebration on Saturday, August 13, 2022. La Esperanza Clinic will be giving away backpacks and sharing the importance of pediatric health care. The Back to School Celebration will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a backpack and school supply giveaway. La Esperanza Clinic will provide free backpacks while supplies last to children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Local non-profit organizations and businesses will fill the provided backpacks with school supplies. This will be the ninth year La Esperanza Clinic has partnered with Sunset Mall.
La Esperanza Clinic and its pediatric department will be providing COVID-19 vaccines for children 6 months and up.
Concho Valley County Medical Society will also have free bike helmets while supplies last. Sunset Mall will have a prize wheel with the chance to win school supplies, gift cards and other prizes. The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. but all free offers are available only while supplies last.
Families are asked to begin at the Sunset Mall North Entrance facing Sunset Drive. Children in grades K-5 must be present to receive the backpack. They will then be directed through Sunset Mall for the remaining portion of this event.
