The San Angelo TEA Party will host its monthly meeting Tuesday, August 9, 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Concho Valley Transit Annex building, 507 N. Chadbourne.

The guest speaker will be Michael Looney, Vice-President with the San Angelo Chamber of Commerce. He will be speaking of how we are doing now, what projects we have completed and what projects are on the way here in San Angelo. He will highlight the Mayor’s leadership principals of economic development of San Anglo – Trains, Planes and Automobiles – that is the San Angelo International Rail Freight Port, the expansion of Highway 27 and Interstate 14, and the Airport developments. He’ll focus on the rail port as that project stands to benefit the agricultural sector and industrial sectors of our community greatly by creating a significant international logistics hub in San Angelo.
