WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. Supreme Court Friday overturned the 50-year-old Row v. Wade decision 5 to 4 ending federal protections for unfettered abortion in the United States. Political pundits rightly warned of violent protests especially from radical leftist democrats and pro-abortion activists.
Congressman August Pfluger released the following on Friday: The Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) decided in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization to overturn Roe v. Wade. This historic ruling affirms that there is no constitutional right to abortion, and returns power to the American people to speak through their elected officials to enact laws that protect unborn children.
This is a day that the pro-life movement has prayed for and worked toward for 50 years. Every life is precious, and this decision will no doubt result in countless unborn lives being saved. I will continue pushing to protect and defend unborn children. Nothing can be more important.
The Department of Homeland Security has issued notices that radical pro-abortion groups are plotting a "night of rage" in response to the SCOTUS decision. Unfortunately, some Democrats in Congress like Maxine Waters and AOC are calling for extremists to "fight" and go "into the streets."
No violence is acceptable. Federal, state, and local law enforcement officers must be vigilant in protecting Supreme Court Justices and their families, pro-life institutions, and churches.

They didn't strike it down. All they did was give power back to the states the way it should be.

PermalinkWhy will something not be done about these two treasonist women and their remarks? Lesser people have been convicted for similar threats.

PermalinkPfluger is a card-carrying idiot. How does he view the attack on the Capitol carried out by rightist nutjobs on January 6 of last year? Dare we compare that horror with what some ticked off pro-abortion folks MIGHT do now? People died and were injured then. A failed former president clearly sought to overturn a valid election and pushed a mob of morons to help him do just that. Then, of course, we have the illicit, criminal behind the scenes actions now being brought to light. Give me a break.

PermalinkNo “might” to it…there has already been over 50 documented attacks on houses of worship and pro-life pregnancy help centers by pro-abortion groups ;)

PermalinkCompare and contrast these events with the magnitude of the attack on the Capitol and its purpose of taking a dump on the Constitution.

PermalinkYou mean the “mostly peaceful protest” at the Capital?
Compare and contrast that with the over 1000 violent protests occurring in 2020 which resulted in 47 fatalities and caused an estimated $2 billion in damages ;)

Permalinkyou are correct that the capital was mostly peaceful, but you have to also admit all protest are mostly peaceful and idiots use them to further their agendas.
