Who Keeps Moving the Construction Signs at the Oak Creek Bridge?

 

BALLINGER, TX – Someone keeps moving the bridge out signs at the Oak Creek Bridge and Runnels County Commissioner Brandon Poehls wants answers.

According to County Commissioner of Runnels County's Precinct 3 the Runnels County Sheriff's Office is searching for an individual, or individuals, responsible for driving through a closed construction zone.

The construction zone where the bridge is out is on CR 216 at the Oak Creek Bridge.

"Our TxDOT District Engineer just informed me that an unknown person or persons has been removing the barricades and driving across," stated Commissioner Brandon Poehls on Facebook. "This is illegal, and extremely dangerous."

The commissioner continued by stating that if someone where to get hurt the person responsible will face criminal and possible civil charges.

Poehls is asking if anyone sees suspicious activity in this area, please call the Runnels County Sheriff at 325-365-2121.
