Cotton Modules Burn at Fisher County Gin

ROTAN, TX -- While West Texas was under a Red Flag warning, fire crews battled a blaze at a cotton gin near Rotan in Fisher County.

KTXS’ Will Jensen reported Sunday that the Fisher County Sheriff’s office said crews left the fire scene Saturday afternoon.

No word yet on what started the fire or how much cotton was destroyed.  The Rotan and Roby Volunteer Fire Departments worked to put out the fire.

The fire burned for about 24 hours.  No one was reported injured.
