Brownwood Man Indicted for Exposing Himself to Minors

BROWN COUNTY, TX- A grand jury indicted a Brownwood man for indecency with a child. The man allegedly exposed himself to two teens.

Tony Lee Jones, 39, was arrested by police on June 9 after responding to reports of a man being naked in public in the 1700 block of Houston St.

Last Thursday, court documents from the 35th District Clerk's Office said a Brown County grand jury indicted Jones “for exposing himself “knowing that a child younger than 17 years of age was present,” said a local news source.

The news source stated, “A police report says when officers knocked on Jones' house, he answered the door naked. When they asked him to put on some clothes and speak to the officers outside his home, he ‘put on a dress and came back outside.'”

A neighbor of Jones' told the officers that he was touching himself and yelling lewd remarks, as said in the report.

Also according to reports, “When Jones was taken to the Brown County Jail, he was 'observed licking a camera and the case around the booking area of the jail.'”

Also according to Jones' indictment, the indecency with a child charge is a third-degree felony. His bond was set at $40,000.
