Abilene Police Dispatcher Promoted to Supervisor

 

The Police Communications Division for he Abilene Police Department promoted Julia Armstrong from the dispatcher position to supervisor of evening shifts, said a press release today.

According to the release, Julia was born and raised in Abilene. She graduated from Abilene High School in 2006. Before becoming a dispatcher, she worked in the fast food industry for eight years, also performing work as a supervisor.

She started working in dispatch at the Abilene Police Department in August of 2012. Julia stated that she has a wonderful job and works with an amazing team of dispatchers, police officers and firefighters. She is glad that she can make a difference and help her community.

The press release ended by congratulating Julia for her promotion, and showing thanks for all members of the police and fire dispatch in Abilene.
