Riley Dodge Named New Southlake Carroll Head Coach; Brent Davis Staying

CARROLL, TX-- According to Bill Jones of CBS 11 in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, Southlake Carroll has decided to hire Justin Northwest Offensive Coordinator Riley Dodge, who is the son of legendary Southlake Carroll coach and current Austin Westlake Coach Todd Dodge.

An earlier report from the Fort Worth Star-Telegram listed Brent Davis as one of three finalists for the vacancy left by Carroll ISD and Hal Wasson parting ways in February after 11 years.

The hire is the first head coaching job for 29-year-old Riley. The Justin Northwest Texans went 6-4 last season.

The hire of Dodge means that Central Head Coach Brent Davis will stay at Central.
