Police: Elderly Woman Found Dead at San Angelo Bus Stop

SAN ANGELO, TX -- Tragedy Friday evening as an elderly woman was found dead at the bus stop bench in front of the Walmart on Sherwood Way.  This sadly is the second person found dead this week near that intersection.  On Tuesday, a man was found dead in his truck.  

According to San Angelo Police Department Officer Ogan at the scene, Police were dispatched to the bus stop between Walmart and the Dollar General Store at the intersection of Sherwood Way and Southland.  

Ogan says this is an ongoing investigation and the information they have now is that the woman had just finished her shopping.
