Water Gusher Appears in Middle of Santa Rita Street

SAN ANGELO, TX — A major break of a water main underneath Avenue J at Paseo De Vaca in the middle of the Santa Rita neighborhood has impeded traffic.

The gusher of a leak appeared after 5:30 p.m. and City Water Department crews are working to eliminate the gusher of water.

This is the second major water main break this week. Sunday night, a water main break underneath College Hills Blvd. at Oxford swallowed a small Nissan. More about that here.
