City Council Reschedules Homeless Forum

 

SAN ANGELO,TX-  A town hall gathering on San Angelo’s homeless issues has been rescheduled for April 4, to avoid a conflict with a mayoral candidate forum this evening.

The forum will address the homeless encampment along the Concho River, and will start at 6 p.m. at the McNease Convention Center, 501 Rio Concho Drive.

This hearing is open to the public, and will be hosted by District 5 City Councilman Lane Carter, according to the City press release.

In addition, The Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a forum for the four mayoral candidates at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Sarah Bernhardt Theater at Central High School, 200 Hickory St. There is no admission fee, and it is open to the public.
