Ram Truck Rams 18-Wheeler and Loses

A collision involving a 2011 Ram pickup and a 2015 Kenworth Truck Tractor with a semi-trailer occurred on US Highway 277 and Orient Road, just north of the city, at 1:30 p.m.

Sgt. Justin Baker, with the Department of Public Safety (DPS), reported that the pickup was pulling out from Orient Rd. onto US 277. The driver was making a right turn heading north.

Baker said the driver of the pickup looked left, but failed to yield the right of way while turning onto the highway. The Kenworth truck was heading south on the highway. The Dodge Ram collided with the 18-wheeler, and struck its left rear tires.
