A press release today from the Concho Valley Winery announced that a Wine and Chocolate Pairing event is being held on Thursday, May the 12, at the Concho Valley Winery, 113 E. Concho Ave.
The staff said, “Wine and chocolate can bring out the best in each other and for this special event. All proceeds will benefit San Angelo's Family Shelter, which provides 24-hour emergency shelter for women and children, as well as helping them transition into new lives.”
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. and continue until 8:00 p.m. The cost of the event is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The staff continued, “Drop by anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. Our sommelier will explain how to mix and taste the pairings for optimum flavor. Afterward, buy a glass (or a bottle) of your favorite wine, sit and chat in the lovely winery or the courtyard outside, and enjoy a live dance performance.”
Ticket prices, as well as a portion of wine sales at the event, benefit San Angelo's Family Shelter.
The staff also said, “The event is educational, benefits a Family Shelter, and it has wine and chocolate. What's not to love?”
