Crash at Rosemont and Ave. N Sends a Lexus and an F-150 to the Junk Yard

The Lexus attempted to turn westbound on to Ave. N from Rosemont. According to Officer Palmer of the San Angelo Police Dept., "she says she did not see the pickup eastbound in the inside lane." When the Lexus entered the road with the oncoming traffic, it was struck in the driver's front side by the front of the F-150, spreading fiberglass debris all over Ave. N.

Ave. N was closed down to one westbound lane only for approximately 45 minutes while crash investigators and wreckers cleaned up the roadway.

The driver of the Lexus was cited for failure to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign.

The crash happened at approximately 2:00 p.m. today. Although neither vehicle was able to leave the crash scene on its own power, no occupants of any vehicle were transported to the hospital.

This is a popular intersection for crashes as this is the second crash at that intersection we have reported this month.

The other popular crash location is FM 2288 and Arden Rd. Today, a car flipped over trapping the driver at approximately 12:15 p.m. We did not get to the crash scene in time for photos.
