All Day Blood Donation Event at Community Medical Center

SAN ANGELO, TEXAS -- United Blood Services is hosting a community blood drive event today from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event is taking place in the Community Medical Center Classrooms 1 & 2, near the hospital's chapel. All donors will receive two movie passes, and if 2 pints are donated, the donor will receive four movie passes.

A donor must be 16 years or older, weigh at least 110 pounds, and be in good health to donate. If you're on a time crunch, save time by completing the health and history online at www.unitedbloodservices.org. Click Fast Track on the left side, and read and answer all questions. Print the Fast Track Ticket and bring it with you to the blood drive. If the Fast Track form is completed on a mobile device, screen shot the bar code and present it upon arrival. This form must be completed on the same calendar day as donation.

Every two seconds someone needs blood. United Blood Services asks for anyone able to donate, to help save a patient's life at Community Medical Center.
