Since School is Out Today, Admission to the Rodeo Carnival is Free Until 4 p.m.

SAN ANGELO TX — The San Angelo ISD announced yesterday at 5 p.m. that Friday, Feb. 9, is a day off for students.

Since this year no days have been canceled for icy or bad winter weather, Feb. 9 was designated as a makeup day. That is, had a day of school been canceled for bad weather, Friday would have been a full day of school.

San Angelo ISD said all schools along with district facilities are closed for the day.

School opens as usual on Monday, Feb. 12.

Since school is out Friday, the San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo will open the Alon Carnival on the Midway early at 1 p.m. Admission to the fairgrounds is free from 1 until 4 p.m. today.

Only San Angelo ISD announced the day off.
