Ballet San Angelo To Debut New Show

 

SAN ANGELO, TX – Ballet San Angelo presents its Spring Performance of mixed repertoire, Director’s Choice – Intros!, this upcoming May 12 and 13. The performance will feature a variety of original students' works as well as guest artist Bernard Gaddis, Founder of Las Vegas Contemporary Ballet Theater, said a press release.

By incorporating both contemporary and classical movements in the show, Ballet San Angelo is sure to appeal to a wide variety of audiences. The focus of the show will feature pieces choreographed by the staff at BSA including new Artistic Director, Sandra Miller, Ballet Mistress, Ariana Myers, and Assistant Artistic Director and Ballet San Angelo Alum, Erin Lane.

Six student pieces will be selected on April 22 by a panel of judges to be on stage during the Director’s Choice showcase.

The event will be going on both May 12 and May 13 at 8 p.m. in the Brooks and Bates Theater at the Stephens Performing Arts Center. Tickets for the event can be purchased online at www.balletsanangelo.org, at the Stephen’s Arena Performing Arts Center Box located at 82 Gillis St, or by phone at 325-284-3825.The cost will be $25 for regular and $30 for premium.
