Your Live Music Guide to New Year's Eve in San Angelo

Live music aplenty will be heard throughout San Angelo on Tuesday night, as the city celebrates New Year’s Eve at venues across town. Just about every local venue will be hosting a live performer on New Year’s, so we thought we’d simplify the selection for you and have compiled a list of performers taking the stage at bars throughout town.

Blaine’s

Dolly Shine

These Texas boys have found their sound and you are going to love it, Dolly Shine's Facebook page states. Their music brings just enough heart-ache and angst mixed in with one hell of a party--Dolly Shine will blow the doors off the bar. Their live performance will leave you singing their songs for weeks and begging for more, their Facebook page states.

Stagecoach Saloon

Clearwater

Clearwater is the self-proclaimed honkiest tonkeyist band north of Luckenbach, playing a mixture of country, western swing and Texas country. "Our band is actually a little more versatile than that--we play some some classic rock and Red Dirt--but we'll play mostly traditional stuff on Tuesday night," said rhythm guitarist and vocalist Bobby Stevens.

Sealy Flats

Jeff Strahan

As if growing up in Lamesa, Texas, (population 9,422 from the 2010 census, located south of Lubbock on the Llano Estacado) is not bad enough, Jeff Strahan also studied and practiced law. But he returned to his roots as a third generation garage “bandanista” and is now a full time, axe wielding, keyboard slamming,Texas blues rocking musician.

His musical style swings on both sides of the border, with flaming hot Texas guitar licks sometimes with a Mexican influence. Strahan’s music is southern rock, blues, folk and more all rolled into one.

Here, a video of Strahan performing "Good Outweighst the Bad" on a balcony in Austin.
