It's nice to see positive news events and this is a huge accomplishment for the CHS Forensic Team. It takes an incredible amount of preparation and talent in order to be this successful in the state tournament. I was fortunate enough to get there in 1979 with my debate partner in my senior year at San Angelo Lake View and I remember burning a lot of midnight oil in the process. This is a memory that these young men and women will cherish for the rest of their lives.
Congratulations to not only these students but to their dedicated teachers and parents as well on a job well done!

As a former president of this team (1989) I am proud to see the success of the CHS speech and debate organization. This is fantastic news.
