Man Driving Red Pickup Leads Police on Chase Through San Angelo

 

SAN ANGELO, TX — A driver of a red pickup led multiple agencies of law enforcement on a chase from outside the city limits on the north side of town and through San Angelo Saturday night.

Police said the male driver in the pickup was pulled over north of town. However, for unknown reasons, he decided to drive off and evade the traffic stop, and a chase ensued.

The chase came down N. Bryant, then S Abe. Finally the subject driving a red pickup stopped in the parking lot of the Marquez Bakery, 2101 Ben Ficklin Rd. Near S. Bryant.

There was a woman in the truck with him. Both were seen being detained by San Angelo Police where the chase ended.

The truck that appears to be an old Ford F-150 suffered a flat tire on the rear driver’s side.

Texas Game Warden, Sheriff, and SAPD were seen pursuing the truck. No injuries were reported.

Police were wrapping up their investigation at around 10:40 p.m. Saturday night.
